Montgenèvre resort
Montgenèvre is the oldest French ski resort and is located in the Southern Alps near the French-Italian border at 1860 meters altitude.
The highest point, the Mont Chaberton rises 3131 meters.
The international resort offers two linked areas : the Grand Montgenèvre and the Monts de la Lune (Mountains of the Moon).
The Monts de la Lune estate also offers a link with the Italian part of the Via Lattea (Milky Way).
Fifth largest ski area in the world and former Olympic site, the Via Lattea offers in total more than 400 kilometers of skiing slopes.
Benefiting from the combination of the Retour d'Est (Return from the East) and its southern orientation, Montgenèvre offers unique conditions that allow skiing from the end of November to the end of April and enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine per year.
